Modern Venetian glass beads, blown and carved, found in Venice on our 2013 trip.  I set them as earrings with high karat gold and black spinel.

Venetian glass beads with high karat gold

From Venice, found on our 2013 trip, these wonderful canotti beads made in the '40's and '50's.  I strung them with high karat gold, gemstone beads and large fresh water pearls.

Just set these champagne quartz earrings with a precious little geode pair from Jalisco, Mexico.  One of the larger pair I think I will set with black diamonds on the ear.  Can you imagine finding these geodes yourself?

Roman intaglio carnelian 18k earrings

These lovely intaglio carnelian earrings I bought with Rudy on our first trip to Florence, Italy in 1989!  I had always wanted a necklace to wear with them:  the re-cut and re-polished disk beads are from the 1950's African Trade and repurposed by our German friends Petra and Dietmar.  I strung them with 18k for my perfect combination.

Venetian glass chevrons made in the 1960's with Afghanistan jade and carnelian beads.  Oh, and California beach glass with a sterling silver starfish!

Chaos

Larry would name this necklace "Chaos" which sounds good to me.  I found handmade beads in my stash that I had made more than 15 years ago and added gemstones from here and there.  Chaotic!
